Career and Website
I'm a software developer working and living in London, Ontario, Canada. In the past decade or so I finished a few degrees, and later went through the software program at Fanshawe College.
In all I've been working in the software industry for over 5 years, starting out at an IT research firm, with later stints at both TD and 3M Canada. Nowadays I'm employed by London Health Sciences Centre (the local group of hospitals in London).
Initially I started this blog to whet my appetite for writing, and do some exploration of the software industry, but since then it's also turned into a springboard to write about some of my other interests, which are many and varied. It also provides my own nook on the internet away from the bustle of social media.
In 2018, I married my long-time partner. Els and I have settled in the London area and plan to stick around a while.
In the preceding years since moving back to London I've also been a voracious reader (history and social science mostly), a whisky hobbyist, a regular theater goer, and an avid sports fan.
If you've made it this far I hope you enjoy my writing, and if you have any comments or questions (or are an old acquaintance who's found their way here) feel free to reach out to me via the contact form on the main page.
